Fafnir's Hoard

These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the purchase of products or services from Fafnir’s Hoard. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Store Information

Fafnir’s Hoard operates as a retail trading card game store based in Ontario, Canada.

2. Eligibility to Purchase

You must be 18 years of age or older to place an order on our website.

Individuals under the age of 18 may only complete a purchase if the cardholder is present, aware of, and explicitly acknowledges the transaction. By completing checkout, the cardholder confirms their authorization.

3. Use of Website

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for unlawful purposes

  • Reproduce or resell our product descriptions, images, or pricing data

  • Use automated tools, bots, or scraping software

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for violations of these terms.

4. Products & Availability

All products are subject to availability. Inventory errors may occur, and we reserve the right to cancel or adjust orders if stock is unavailable.

  • Product images are for reference and may not reflect exact packaging variations.

  • Trading card singles are sold as described at the time of purchase.

5. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

  • Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders affected by obvious mistakes.

Payment must be completed in full before orders are processed or shipped.

6. Preorders

Fafnir’s Hoard offers preorder products for upcoming releases.

All preorder sales are considered final. Refunds, cancellations, or modifications to preorder orders are not guaranteed and are issued solely at the discretion of Fafnir’s Hoard, following careful review and scrutiny of the request.

Please be aware that:

  • Manufacturer allocations may change without notice

  • Release dates are subject to delays beyond our control

  • In cases of reduced allocation, preorder quantities may be adjusted or partially fulfilled

By placing a preorder, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.

7. Shipping & Delivery

  • We currently ship within Canada only.

  • Shipping timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Responsibility for orders transfers once the shipment has been handed to the carrier.

We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by shipping carriers, though we will assist with reasonable claims when possible.

8. Returns & Refunds

Our Return & Refund Policy outlines eligibility for returns and refunds.

In summary:

  • Singles are final sale

  • Sealed products are subject to return conditions outlined in the Return Policy

  • Event entry fees are non-refundable

9. Card Condition & Grading

Card condition is subjective and based on industry standards at the time of listing.

We do not guarantee outcomes from third-party grading services (including but not limited to PSA, BGS, or CGC). No refunds will be issued based on grading results.

10. Events, Tournaments & In-Store Play

  • Event and tournament entry fees are non-refundable

  • Entry fees may be transferred to another event at our discretion

  • Event schedules, formats, and prize structures may change

Participants are expected to follow store rules and maintain respectful conduct.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fafnir’s Hoard shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service in question.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect once posted on our website.
